Upcoming meetings:
Our next meeting on June 11, 2026, will feature the new officers’ election and a Board discussion and vote on proposed comments on AECOM’s draft Long Term Recovery Plan (LTRP) — recommended by CRCC, the PPCC Land Use and Infrastructure Committees, and participating Advisory Task Forces (ATFs). See the agenda above for links to all the recommended comments. The Board will also consider several grants recommended by the Grants Committee.
On June 25th, we’ll thank the current / outgoing officers for their outstanding service over the past two years. We’ll also have a presentation by LADWP on water infrastructure in the Palisades! Please submit any questions you have on this topic to the PPCC Infrastructure Committee no later than 11pm on 6/22/26, HERE.
Recent past meetings:
Our meeting on May 28th featured an introduction to the new alternate organizational representatives, respectively for the Garden Club (Aileen Haugh), Friends of the Library (Caroline Nick), LTRG (Richard Lombari) and Team Palisades (Darragh Danton). There were no Board nominations of additional candidates for PPCC officer positions; the candidates nominated by the Nominating Committee will therefore be elected by acclamation at our June 11th meeting: President – Allison Holdorff; Vice-President – Reza Akef; Treasurer – Daphne Gronich; Secretary – Caroline Nick. We will welcome the new officers when they take their seats at the first PPCC meeting in July!
CD 11 partnered with PPCC in hosting an informative special meeting on May 19, 2026, about a possible Disaster Recovery District (DRD) to be established for the Palisades. See a recording of the presentation HERE.
