Councilmember Bonin announced that ALERTWildfire camera installation began on October 5 at San Vicente Peak in the Santa Monica Mountains, with additional cameras planned for Westridge Trail and Canyonback Trail. The high-definition cameras, part of a university consortium network, will provide firefighters and the public with enhanced situational awareness for fire detection and response.
