Pacific Palisades Community Council is considering a motion urging federal, state, county, and city governments to investigate the use of taxpayer funds allocated for homelessness programs, citing concerns about mismanagement and accountability based on investigative reporting and audit findings showing high vacancy rates and poor spending oversight. The motion was unanimously passed by the WRAC Homelessness Committee on September 24, 2024, and is scheduled for PPCC Board consideration on October 10, 2024.
