This document presents DWP's analysis of three overloaded and outage-prone electrical circuits in Pacific Palisades (29-03, 29-05, and 29-06) and proposes short-term solutions using pole-top distribution stations to split the circuits into five, with long-term plans for a new permanent distribution station. Construction of the temporary pole-top stations is scheduled to begin in March 2016 and be completed before summer.

The Village Plan Land Use Committee presents a preliminary report on the proposed Caruso mixed-use development project in Pacific Palisades, analyzing what can be built by right under existing zoning versus the proposed 116,215 square feet of commercial and residential space, and identifying key areas where the project requires Specific Plan amendments including use of R3P-zoned areas, building heights exceeding 30 feet, and other variances. The report notes general community support with specific concerns focused on traffic, parking, building location and height, use mix, and alcohol licenses.
