The Pacific Palisades Community Council unanimously adopted a resolution urging the City to require dockless electric scooter and bicycle providers to cooperate with law enforcement in accident investigations as a condition of operating licenses, prompted by a hit-and-run incident involving a church pastor. The Council also unanimously approved five WRAC-recommended motions supporting school safety findings, wildland hazard mitigation efforts, co-living development regulations, affordable housing density bonus enforcement, and restrictions on developer contributions to elected officials.

The Marvin Braude Beach Trail Gap Closure project aims to close a 0.6-mile gap between Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica and widen the existing 12-14 foot path into two separate 12-14 foot paths for pedestrians and bicycles. Construction was scheduled to begin in early 2020 with partial funding from a $3 million Active Transportation Program Grant.

The California Coastal Commission staff report recommends finding no substantial issue with an appeal of a local coastal development permit for a 4-story, 45-foot high eldercare facility with 82 guest rooms at 1525 & 1533 N. Palisades Drive in Pacific Palisades. The staff concluded that appellants' concerns regarding height, mass, design, scenic views, habitat impacts, geologic stability, and traffic were adequately addressed by the City's approval and do not raise substantial issues under the Coastal Act.
