The PPCC Grants Committee recommends a $5,200 grant from donations to the Friends of the Library to create an outdoor space at the temporary Palisades Library facility, which will include removal of burned plants and purchase of outdoor furniture such as umbrellas, tables, and chairs. The temporary library, consisting of two trailers on the former library site, is scheduled to officially open on February 27, 2026.

The Pacific Palisades Community Council announced three meetings scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025: a Mayor Bass community briefing on wildfire assistance and debris removal, a Park Board meeting on park conditions and future, and a BHA meeting on wildfire resilience with Dr. Jon Keeley. The Pacific Palisades Civic League suspended its review and approval process for rebuilds of structures damaged or destroyed by the Palisades Fire in Tract 9300 to simplify community reconstruction, noting that Los Angeles zoning regulations and Mayor Bass's executive orders now provide similar oversight and expedited review processes. Residents must still comply with city building and planning department requirements.
