The Pacific Palisades Community Council unanimously voted to urge Councilmember Bonin to promptly implement Council File 10-1058-S4 to close a zoning loophole that allows incompatible large homes (up to 45 feet tall with 3:1 floor area ratio) in R-1 non-hillside coastal areas by extending the Baseline Mansionization Ordinance to these zones. The Council requests that the City Attorney and Planning Department report back with a proposal by March 3, 2022, and seeks a six-month extension of the Council File deadline.
