  On March 23, 2017, the Pacific Palisades Community Council discussed the Shell Station at 15401 Sunset Boulevard regarding extended operating hours and alcohol sales. The Council failed to pass a motion on extended hours and declined to reach consensus on the Conditional Use Beverage Permit, instead encouraging continued dialogue between the applicant and community.

  PPCC Chair Maryam Zar issued a statement regarding a fatal accident on Sunset Boulevard and Chautauqua on April 2, 2017, involving a teen driver and a bike rider.
