Pacific Palisades Community Council passed a modified version on June 26, 2025, supporting an amendment to Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 56.15 to ban all classes of e-bicycles from sidewalks and boardwalks, with additional language requesting enforcement of rider age limits. The proposal was formally adopted by WRAC in August 2025 and passed by multiple neighborhood councils across the Westside.
