The Westside Regional Alliance of Councils (WRAC) is hosting virtual candidate forums this week for County Supervisor District 3 on April 27 and City Attorney on April 28, with a PPCC-BCC Council District 11 forum scheduled for May 3. Pacific Palisades residents are encouraged to attend these forums to learn about candidates who may impact the community.

The motion was formally adopted by WRAC in July 2022 and subsequently passed by eight neighborhood councils including Pacific Palisades Community Council.

The Westside Regional Alliance of Councils submitted requests for consideration regarding City Council file CF 22-0158, proposing that the city include homeless shelter protections, ensure CEQA compliance, maintain public notification and comment rights, and consider the effects of allowing shelters in R1 zones near sensitive sites. The motion was formally adopted by WRAC in June 2022 and passed by multiple neighborhood councils including Pacific Palisades Community Council in modified form.
