LA Fire met with the Pacific Palisades Community Council on March 7, 2023 to discuss brush clearance requirements (100-200 feet from structures), a potential drone pilot program for fire mitigation and law enforcement with privacy considerations, tree branch and power line management by DWP, and BBQ usage policies in parks which are restricted only on Red Flag Days. The discussion included information about the 'adopt a park' program for community-funded brush clearance and plans to invite LA Fire's westside community liaison to a future meeting.
