DRAFT 2016 Potrero Canyon Pedestrian Crossing Feasibility Study Technical Memorandum

This feasibility study evaluates four alternatives for a pedestrian crossing between Potrero Canyon Park and Will Rogers State Beach across Pacific Coast Highway: improving the existing trail to Temescal Canyon Road, an at-grade crossing, an underground crossing, and a bridge crossing. The study concludes that a bridge crossing is most feasible based on factors including constructability, safety, permitting requirements, and stakeholder approval.
