The PPCC Bylaws Committee recommends three amendments to Appendix A (adding Malibu-Palisades Chamber of Commerce, updating YMCA name to Lowe Family YMCA, and removing Westside Waldorf School) and one addition to Appendix C (new Standing Rule 15 authorizing grants from third-party donations). Board voting on these amendments is scheduled for September 25, 2025, with a second distribution of proposed amendments on that date and a first distribution on September 11, 2025.

The California Coastal Commission staff report recommends finding no substantial issue with an appeal of a local coastal development permit for a 4-story, 45-foot high eldercare facility with 82 guest rooms at 1525 & 1533 N. Palisades Drive in Pacific Palisades. The staff concluded that appellants' concerns regarding height, mass, design, scenic views, habitat impacts, geologic stability, and traffic were adequately addressed by the City's approval and do not raise substantial issues under the Coastal Act.
