The Pacific Palisades Community Council Executive Committee has stated conditional support for ACE Building Materials' temporary permit application to operate a building supplies yard and point-of-sale center at the former Shell Station site at Sunset and Via de la Paz, intended to support post-fire reconstruction efforts. The EC took this position in advance of a Planning Department hearing scheduled for January 5, 2026, based on the Land Use Committee's unanimous recommendation and to ensure PPCC's conditional approval and proposed conditions would be considered by the Zoning Administrator.
