The PPCC Infrastructure Committee recommends that the PPCC Board support a resolution addressing utility undergrounding, street tree planting, and streetlight infrastructure in Pacific Palisades. The Committee proposes a one-year pause on street tree planting to allow for development of a Master Infrastructure Plan, advocates for metal poles and stealth cell towers to incorporate wireless telecommunications equipment, and opposes installing transformer boxes on private property of fire victims.

The Pacific Palisades Community Council, in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago and funded by the Riviera Foundation, is recruiting diverse residents to participate in focus groups during the week of June 23, 2025 to gather insights on recovery and rebuilding priorities following the January 2025 wildfires. Participants will receive a $75 Amazon gift card and their input will inform a community-wide survey in summer 2025.

The Pacific Palisades Community Council opposes the planned installation of two large digital billboards by Metro's Transportation Communication Network (TCN) program along the 405 freeway north of the 10 interchange, citing concerns about visual blight, driver distraction, traffic safety, and environmental impacts. The Council urges Metro Board members, LA County Supervisors, Mayor Bass, and LA City Councilmembers to exempt these billboards from the planned installation.

The Council notes that despite community advocacy and past efforts to promote electric alternatives, illegal use of gas-powered leaf blowers and inadequate enforcement remain ongoing concerns.
